Met with Dr Collins after being diagnosed by urgent care and primary care with a torn meniscus after and MRI, Dr Collins poke my knee then determined I did not have a tear. He gave me a shot and sent me on my way. I met with a different Dr the following week who diagnosed me with a torn meniscus and sprained ACL. Went in for a broken Tibia that was diagnosed by Banner urgent care x-rays. Dr. Collin’s spent less than five minutes with us. His professional opinion after viewing Banner Urgent care x-ray was nothing was wrong. His advice was to walk on my broken ankle. I explained I couldn’t. His advice was try and if in 4-6 weeks you still can’t walk come back in for an MRI. I went to the Core institute next day had new x-rays taken and diagnosis was a broken tibia at the ankle. Not happy with the way my surgery went for reverse shoulder surgery. First of all Dr. Collins said when we returned to Mesa in Nov. he would put me under and manipulate my shoulder. When I went back in to him he wanted to do more surgery. I told him NO WAY. Now I am seeing another doctor for my shoulder.
Tyler Collins is terrific! He repaired my ACL and meniscus. Dr. Collins was extremely professional, friendly, engaging and never made me feel rushed. I had an outstanding outcome from my surgery! After a week, I am up and getting around independently! I gave away my brace and crutches! My physical therapist is so surprised by my quick recovery! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
