I loved this quaint little inn. Stayed this past weekend .I thought the place was,clean and the staff friendly. The inn keeper Sally was a local delight with a helpful and friendly attitude . And the town and locals were awesome as well. If your,looking for a quiet get away, this is the spot. My kids loved it and no,bed bugs to be seen . We enjoyed it so much we've booked five rooms for Thanksgiving, and are planning to spend our Thanksgiving there with our family
Wonderful staff as well as cozy rooms close to many things to do. Quiet and a lovely environment. Grills and gazebos outfront as well and huge palm trees make you feel like you're in your own little island Oasis. And inexpensive too? What's not to love. Perfect to relax after a long day on the river or just a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!
This place is absolutely unprofessional and clearly does not know a damn thing about how to run a good business and provide adequate customer service. My mother in law visiting from out of town checked in with her husband and their small grandchildren. Both kids had to be taken to the ER the next day due to having multiple bed bug bites all over them. So in addition to the unexpected costs of a hospital visit for 2 small children, they had to purchase medication in addition to washing everything they brought with them. These... read more
I can get past the fact that it's an older place. I don't mind some things needing some fixing. Exposed lightbulbs, mold in the shower, doorknobs falling off...not really a big deal. HOWEVER... The strong smell of smoke in the room which barely masked the smell of dog was too much. Went to use the spare bed and not only did it have fleas but trash and even dirty children's underware. This is more like a weekly rental for the people who work day labor rather then a family inn.
We come here each time we visit family. Not big on amenities, bring your own shampoo, lotion, and be greated by a great hostess, the cleaning gal is super friendly and the evenings on the porch are priceless. In expensive, close to yummy food, and shopping is walking distance
