RecommendedReally need to bring back the flavored root beer. This new stuff....I think I will hit up Sonic now and get watermelon root beer with a burger and fries next time.
We wanted to get something to eat on our way back home to Baton Rouge and this popped up on our search so we decided to stop in. The food was great. I had the classic and my fiancé had the Big Tex both were great juicy burgers. The fries were also great. We will definitely come back when we come back in town.. Oh and the chocolate root beer :)

I love Twisted Root & I really hate to write this, but it’s got to be done. I love the freshness of the burgers & the fresh fries, but my last two trips in the past month the burgers are cooked WELL to the point of being dry. The sign at the counter says cooked medium unless stated you want it cooked more. So please talk with the cooks & explain that medium is medium & you can’t undo well done. The way they fired their employees at the beginning of December without notice & close the store is disgusting & disrespectful Service is horrible, food is bland, way to expensive, did I mention BLAND.
Sit at the bar when Becka is on. Great personality and accommodating, great experience.

Great burgers, iced tea, French fries, a pickle bar and adult beverages (although we didn’t partake on this trip).
