Ran into my aunt, uncle, and cousins at a Lobo game and they suggested we meet up afterwards at Twin Peaks (as they are regulars here). Steak was grilled to perfection! Good price,decent quality. I had the garlic mashed potatoes & nicely picked thin asparagus. The hostess & waitresses smiled upon entering, teamwork upon food delivery for 8. A Monday night on the late side was a slow time. Many of the waitresses kept busy, our waitress had a boyfriend in the booth next to us, several times slipping into the seat next to him for several minutes. I live in North Carolina, I stopped in over a year ago, been to many twin peaks around the country..... But this one is my favorite. Ashley Temer was my bartender and was absolutely great..... Such a great, sweet personality. I'm back in town for work and walk in and Ashley recognizes me immediately even though it's packed because of March madness and it's been a year since she's seen me. Every twin peaks would be lucky to have an Ashley Temer. Thank you!
The food was good, but they need to know the difference between guacamole and avocado. The service was good. Plenty of sports on the monitors and classic rock on the speakers. Excellent! Two guys started an argumentbehind me in front of the bar. One guy said that when he fights, he fights to the death. Of course, nothing happened, but I wish the management would have stopped it right away instead of letting them go on for 10 minutes until they lost their erections. Very slow service! Took 10 minutes before I could place my drink order, and she wouldn't take my food order at that time. 5 minutes until my drink came, and then had to wait 10 more minutes until she came for my food order. By then I lost my appetite, paid for my drink and went elsewhere for lunch. All that eye candy isn't worth the wait, some people want to eat and get out...
