This clinic saved my parrots life yesterday. Worked me right in.
Worst vet I have ever been to. They do not care about your pets. They care only about how much of a budget you have for them. Very rude when you ask questions regarding what things will cost. They literally would not talk to me unless I gave them a maximum of what I could spend. I had not even seen the vet by that time. I came in with my dog bleeding everywhere and they stuck me and my bleeding dog in a waiting room until I decided a budget. Ridiculous. Last month I made an appointment for my cockatoo and before the date of her check-up she got sick... They were able to move up my appointment and get us in immediately. They went above and beyond. I had my six year old niece and four year God daughter with me. They explained what they were doing and even let them listen to Seca's (the cockatoo) heart. It was amazing to them. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they also fit us in to a time that works best for us. They have seen all our pets that include a tortoise, bunnies, and dogs!
I took my dog up there yesterday for her dental. She is old, over weight and has a heart murmur. To say i had reservations about her being put under was an understatement. Dr. Derusha's bedside manner and the staffs was all i needed to make this more reassuring for me. He truly cared for my dog as his own, & was very patient with all of the questions that i kept asking. You cant find alot of vets these days were they are in it for more than just a paycheck. Twin lakes has my vote!
They fit us in so we could get our fur baby dog, Gigi treated for a fall.....Dr. DeRusha was wonderful and we're looking forward to working with he and his team to make her better!♡♡
I love this clinic. I love its staff and vets. I have chickens and ducks and live about 60 miles from this clinic. We only have one vet in our area that is "sometimes" willing to see ducks/chickens. After not getting a response back from my previous vet's office as to whether they would see a duck of mine, I started searching for the nearest vet that saw birds and found this place.
