The first time I used Bellevue Animal Hospital was in the late 70's. Dr. Boyd treated our Cockapoo Scochi for what we later found out was Parvo. When moved back in 2000 we had the pleasure of bringing our 13 year old Samoyed to be seen. Both these babies crossed the bridge due to health issues. These wonderful people have seen us through all the trials and tribulations of being Guardians of Jake, Harley. They helped us escort these two wonderful babies across they bridge. First, I will say that the doctors are good, the facilities are nice, and sometimes (but not always) the front desk staff are friendly and attentive. However, their prices are quite high and they nickel and dime their patients to death. On top of high office visit and lab prices, they charge a needle disposal fee. They also charge at the top of their surgery estimates more often than not. My mom has been taking her older dog there for several years and they know her dog's history so she is loathed to change vets now, but she... read more
