I DODGED A BULLET, meaning a bad surgical experience and/or outcome. Two years ago, this PA NB told me I needed back surgery. I said I was interested in minimally invasive surgery. He said no, I needed rods and screws. I asked about specifics, and he handed me a brochure, ‘Your hospital stay.’ I prepared for my last 2025 appointment with a list of low back optional interventions with failure rates and risks. Cate Pandisco got me started in having my drop foot X-rayed related to spine and compression of nerves, ultimately to get me in for spinal fusion with Dr. Ben Mueller. Both staff are excellent, caring, good at diagnosis, acting quickly and professionally, great at follow up, getting me into physical therapy after the surgery. Highly recommend them. My life is so much better because of them.
My review is for Dr. Benjamin Mueller. I referred him to a dear friend with horrible back pain. They were not happy with my referral as they sat in the patient room for 30 min until they walked out in the hallway to ask if they had forgotten him. They were all in the break room having lunch. Not good customer service, and I was embarrassed for them. I personally have had Dr. Mueller attend myself several times in the past years, but saw him recently for back and hip pain for 5 months.
