I had one of the most stressful healthcare experiences of my life at Twin Cities Orthopedics. During my annual firefighter fit-for-duty physical, I was incorrectly told I had high blood glucose, possible diabetes, a possible infection, and an abnormal heart rhythm. I just ended a phone call with the billing office over at Twin Cities Orthopedics. I wanted to find out why my 25 minutes physical therapy appointments were being billed at $580 per session. She informed me their standard practice is to bill for over THREE TIMES THE STANDARD CASH AMOUNT of $150 for anyone using insurance. She then proceeded to tell me I should be grateful, because my deductible would be met faster. The staff and PTs at this location are amazing. I’m recovering from a hip scope surgery and I’m feeling so much better thanks to their expert care!
