It seems as though camping is secondary here, or an afterthought... they have full hookups right along the 60mph noisy road. Most spaces are occupied by permanent campers/trailers/mobile homes. The bathhouse is freshly painted, but is very airy/cold and the shower is one that you have to hold to keep on. The staff seemed friendly. Arrived day after derecho. Power was out at first but host was very friendly and helpful. There are lots of permanent campers that are crowded together. Lots for kids to do. Nice playground, beach area and petting zoo. A goat and sheep even visited us at our campsite the next morning. Didn’t get to check out the bath house. Only issue is water and power hook up is in an odd place for the spot we were in. Other than that great little place.
Loved our stay there the camp owner is one awesome dude will definitely be returning
Love this place. You can camp, fish, swim, the kids can play on the playground and with the animals in the petting zoo!
