RecommendedHighly recommend Twigs Cafe! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here with dinner last night. Becca was our server and she was the sweetest, most attentive waitress we've ever had! Her demeanor, positive attitude and constant smile made our celebrations even better! Keep smiling pretty girl, you are awesome! Wonderful hidden gem in our backyard!
My husband and I had an early dinner at Twigs last night. My app was very good- the roasted red pepper hummus with Nan. My husband got the fried calamari and complained that it had a strange taste, like when the frying oil has not been changed. We both had the crab cake entree and it tasted OK but with the same "just a little off- bad oil" reaction. Food was so-so and the service and atmosphere were poor.
Twigs is definitely turning things around. The food was very good. A positive change from last year. They also have the best waitress in Kim.
Love Twig's and have been going there for about 20 years but did not enjoy my meal there the other day. Got the pork barbecue sandwich and French fries but it was not good. The pork had a lot of fat in it and was covered with melted cheese. The barbecue sauce was only spooned on the meat. I know Twig's can do better.
I sent a message yesterday telling them how good the food was. I have not been in Tunkhannock in over 17 years and was told to try Twigs Cafe. So glad I listened the food and service was great. I will be back and it will not be 17 yrs later!
