Specialties Specialty cakes (Weddings, birthdays, quinceneras, etc) made from scratch. History Established in 1998. Twiggs began in 1998 in our original location still located in the central University Heights Business district. We operated for years with a bakery in a commercial location. In 2008, we moved our bakery along with a cafe opened to the public to Adams Avenue. We now operate two locations.

Best baked pastries and croissants in San Diego Great staff, especially Kat She reads my mind in the morning before I turn it on.....LOL To the owners: Nice that older gentleman like myself have somewhere to sit without being judged by the Millennial hoard who age discriminate if you invade their treasured cool spots like you are taking up their space.....thank you for supporting AA and comedy and all the other community issues that flow in and out.

Love the University Heights location ! Great coffee and the bakery is awesome ! Free WIFI and the decor is cool too. Pretty busy and I can see why. Perfect neighborhood coffee shop. Drove from East County to try Twiggs. Was not let down, looking forward to our next trip !
