A nice spot! Great soaps, great locally made products, this shop is a great little find. The prices are high, but the friendly staff and well organized store make this a favorite of mine!
Twig is my favorite eco-friendly store in Chapel Hill! Twig is a really great store in Chapel Hill! I really try to be as sustainable as possible and it is so nice to have a store that supports this choice. It is a one-stop shop - they have everything! Plus, it seems like every time I go in, they have a new product!
Really great people and products Great store, great products. The people there are truly genuine, and they sincerely care about the customers. I know because I worked there for over a year. Twig is a store I visit whenever I'm in Chapel Hill I've shopped here several times and it's been great. Fair trade goods (for a reasonable price) along with things like Mad Mats (cool uniques rugs made out of recycled plastic), jewelry made by local artists, etc. I've had direct dealings with the owner who ordered items for me and this went exceptionally well and items were mailed to me in a short time. local, sustainable goodies I have purchased numerous gifts here and was very excited when they opened. We have needed a retail shop that focuses on sustainable, local products. It ranges from compost buckets to jewelry to clothing to beautiful purses and bags. It is a great addition and fulfills a niche that was wide open in this progressive area
nice products, poor ownership The products are great! the prices are a little high and pricey, but its a trendy posh store for the bored housewife looking to be environmentally conscious. The help is nice, but the owner is self absorbed pompous ***, to put it nicely. Has ZERO customer service skills! I was in there recently shopping for baby gifts, and wasn't too thrilled to hear how he handled a customer trying to return a product that was faulty. Twig is nice! This was a great source of organic and environmentally conscious items which are often hard to find locally--the prices seem a bit high (but often are for such things), but I was glad to see local soaps being sold!!
