First let me say we love TV Ears. Got a new Smart TV and needed Digital set. Do not order these direct from the company. Order them through ******. The price is better, free shipping, and if you need to return them for another pair due to malfunction, ****** makes it so simple, "No Problem we will send you free shipping label etc." If you need to return to TV Ears, you pay the shipping to return, and life is so much less complicated doing business with ******.

I was trying to place an order for TV Ears for my mom as a Christmas gift. When I went to their website at the very top it says Holiday Sale, receive 25% off you order by using code HB25 at checkout. The item list price was $229.95 but that price was crossed out and a new price of $149.95 was written next to it in red. When I tried to place the order the system would not allow me to enter the promo code at checkout. I called the company today and spoke with Jose. I apologize for any confusion that may have occurred with the promotions on our Website. At check out, if you attempt to use more than 1 promotion it will specify that you can only use one at a time. This is common on alot of websites. The banner posted states that you get 30% off, not that you will get an "additional 30% off". Respectively, there is a difference. Once again, our apologies and I hope that you will continue to purchase in the future.
I purchased TV ears two years ago and after one year they did not work. I spoke to them and they said that the unit I had was an older model and if it was put in the charger backwards it would affect the product negatively. For a discounted price of $50 I can get the new version that cannot be put in backwards. I purchased it and exactly one year later this unit failed to take a charge. Our current headsets now are made of a nylon material that is very flexible. This material will enable you to move the bow arms more without experiencing breakage. Have had 10 or 11 sets and they all break (plastic from control unit) about one and sometimes 2 inches above the volume control unit. Have called a few times - complaining about this problem and the response has always been, "sorry, not guaranteed". Guess I kept hoping the for a miracle - well, no more for me.....

I have two pairs of these devices and both of the plastic ear straps broke in the same place. As long as they stayed together they work well.

We were in need of head phones to listen to TV without disturbing each others sleep and after searching for some we ended up with TV Ears. I have a dual defibrillator implant and after several days of using the product I started having some problems as my sleep habits were changed along with shortness of breath and discomfort in my chest. I went back and found buried in booklet that I should beware that this product may effect implants and Immediately stopped wearing them and called company to get RAN and get my money back. ... read more
