I attempted to order the TV ears over the phone. I had found an ad in a magazine promoting the product for $ 59.95 with promo code. The advertisement did not mentioned anything about an analog vs a digital tv ( flat screen newer TV). I mentioned this to the representative on the phone and let him know I would call him back after speaking with my mom to determine if she wanted to pay $150 for the digital TV Ears. We have owned over the years 6-7 sets of analog TV Ears. In every case the bow has broke. I exchanged emails with their tech service dept. They have a standard response, it’s not the products fault, it’s the users fault. Surprise the bow isn’t covered under their warranty. How they stay in business is beyond me. They have no conception of what good customer relations might be and suggested we buy from them a receiver ears set for $49 when they are selling a whole new set for $10 more. Mr. Wasserman, The broken headsets that you have purchased in 2017 and earlier, are covered under your 5 yr limited warranty. Under that warranty, we will replace the defective product at 50% of the cost. Under that warranty, replacing a headset would be $49.98. This company promises you the moon. Instead you get a very cheaply made product that likely won't last long. After the very tough initial setup, mine only lasted 2 weeks and now doesn't do anything at all. So now I have to start the return process, waiting 2 more weeks for delivery of a new one, and who knows if it'll last any length of time or not.They must get a lot of returns, but with how cheaply these are made I guess they don't mind. DONOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT.. THE EAR PIECE BREAKS AFTER A PERIOD OF TIME, USUALLY AT THE SAME PLACE AND SUPPORTS BEING AN INFERIOR PRODUCT. COMPANY DOES NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND APPARENTLY MAKES NO EFFORT TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF THE HEADSET. THIS IS AFTER HAVING THE 7TH HEADSET BREAK IN VIRTUALLY THE SAME PLACE.
My experience and that of the other two of my relatives who have purchased TV Ears is that the headsets are of low quality in that they break easily. For each ear, there is a pair of thin, curved stems on the headset; these stems attach at the component that holds the battery while the other end of each stem is what you place in your ear canal. I ordered this product from Amazon. It arrived with one defected foam ear tip so I call TV Ears directly and was told they could not send me one foam ear tip. I called Amazon and was given a refund which is the equivalent of a set of ear tips. Buy from Amazon. It costs less, has free shipping and exceptional customer service
came in mail 5/18/2018 call and told the the speaker did not work ( 5/21/2018 ) they told me to mail the speaker back to them . they want me to pay the postage. I have had it one day !!
I purchased this product as a gift for my husband but it was not appropriate for intended use. I have no issues with the product but the service department for the company leaves a lot to be desired. I had to really fight for my refund. Just be aware that your $8.58 shipping cost is not refunded plus you must return it using a tracking number which will cost you an additional $15 because the unit is very heavy. So be prepared to spend around $23 just to try this product out.

I bought a headset for my father for Christmas. I got what a thought was a great Cyber Monday deal on a headset. The quality of sound was horrible! It was static like an old AM radio. They are horrible quality and the company doesn't stand behind returning them. They will send a replacement, which I don't want because they are JUNK. They had horrible customer service.
