Made a reservation and the table still wasn’t ready. After we were seated we had to flag down a server to ask who had our table. Service horribly slow and unorganized. Bar was out of an ingredient to make one of their specialty cocktails. Entrees were good. Experience as a whole lacking. At the cost per meal and the cost of drinks to have such a mediocre experience is horribly disappointing.
I’ve tried it three times now, and I won’t be going back; this last time was on a Sunday at 4 o'clock. Only two tables were occupied, yet the server was incredibly slow—the drinks took ages to arrive. The food wasn't good either; the bruschetta featured hard bread and tomatoes that hadn't been dressed at all, and the meal in general was nothing special. My mom and I live a few minutes away from Winthrop and pass by this restaurant all the time and we finally stopped in tonight to try the place. We were greeted by the head bartender who seated us and and he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Our server was Kaylee who was great. She was friendly and attentive. Food and drinks are so good! The limoncello cake is fire.
Meatballs taste just like my Italian grandmothers meatballs! Had the penne ala vodka and tastes great. Desserts are amazing too.
