Stayed at the hotel for my husbands work conference. After the first day, decided we didn't feel like venturing into town for food, so we opted to check out the restaurant in the hotel. Came down around 1730 and self-sat, which we learned wasn't maybe the best way but it wasnt clearly marked to "please check in here for a table". Pimento cheese fitters were barely warm inside and tasted of grease. Deviled eggs were tasteless. Pesto Primavera was box orecchiette with jar pesto and 6 grape tomatoes. Flank steak was fatty, unseasoned and unevenly cooked. Cocktails are the best thing on the menu.
I ordered a house salad and my daughter the side salad. Basically the same salad but a $7 difference and it was a poorly made salad. The burgers were premade patties that tasted frozen. The wings were gross. My sangria was 1/2 ice and 1/2 frozen gross melon balls with maybe 2 oz of liquid. It was a really gross drink. Our service was the worst thing. The Sweet Potato Gnocchi was amazing. I hope they keep it on the menu so that I can have it again when I visit in the future.
