I would like to start this by saying everyone else I encountered during my visit were very nice and helpful BUT Dr. McAllister. He came into the room and immediately started telling me I couldn’t possibly have trigeminal neuralgia because I was too young even though I have been diagnosed by two other neurologists and have had MVD surgery as a result of it. Anytime I tried to speak he would raise his voice and speak over me. He wouldn’t listen to anything I had to say and insisted I was wrong about my diagnosis. Kept mentioni... read more
Dr. Claude Louis is the best doctor ever. I've been seeing Dr. Louis since he join the Riverside group. He takes the time to explain why I'm having certain issues and the medication he's prescribing. I like the fact that he reviews my chart prior to my appointment. He takes the time to listen and that's important to me.
Fabulous find! She doesn't just collect data, write scripts and make referrals. Listens and works with patient. I respect how she involves patient in care decisions.
Just be prepared to show up 15 minutes before your appointment, then wait at least an hour.
Wait times are awful, he takes notes manually, but seems to only note what he feels is important and not everything. Seemed to miss some critical clinical history, and isn't proceeding with the next round of testing to at least rule out MS, since demyelination isn't just caused for no reason. The last two MRIs show it, and that there has been progression, though he claims it's nothing to be worried about. Why? It's demyelination.. I don't understand why that isn't of concern. I'm looking for a new doctor.
The most kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and caring physician you’ll ever find. Dr. Yeatts is by far one of the most talented physicians and surgeons in Virginia! I truly mean this ~ he has helped me tremendously with several complex issues. Thank you so very much!!
I went to Dr Gibson after being treated for years by another local Doctor who couldn’t seem to get my diabetic situation under control. Now, he doesn’t make small talk!!! He is very direct, stern and honest. I’ve read these reviews and I can promise you that he is not “cold” He will look at your results, tell you what he wants you to do and be on his way! I chose him also because he is a representative of ME and I felt that he could understand me a little more and relate to me! I went from taking 3 medications to control my ... read more
This physician is a poor communicator: she neither listens well, nor does she express herself well at all; she does not follow up on issues that she cannot deal with herself as to whether referrals to other medical specialists have been able to solve issues about which she was not able to give any information/support. She also does not allow her clients to refuse recommendations for treatment, testing, et al - her tactic seems to be that she can force you to do what she thinks you ought to do, based off nothing more than CDC... read more
I recently had a follow-up appointment at Atiq's office, and unfortunately, I have decided that it will be my last visit there. Atiq lacks professional and social communication skills, and to make matters worse, she is also rude and disrespectful. She does not take the time to listen to her patients' concerns or understand the ultimate goal of being a medical professional, which is to save lives and serve the community. During my appointment, she was dismissive and did not seem to comprehend the severity of my medical situat... read more
