Everything about the visit and procedure was excellent. The staff was really great and the procedure ( bi-lateral L-1 nerve block) was done quickly and with very little discomfort. Dr. Gajjar clearly explained the procedure beforehand and during and has a good “bedside manner”. I highly recommend him.
I had been a patient for nearly five years, my back had deteriorated to the point of spontaneous vertebral fractures. I went because I could no longer stand up for more than 5 minutes without excruciating pain. His advice to me was to go back to physical therapy. Really?? I found another doctor and had nerve oblation within 3 weeks. No pain, no meds.
Dr, Gajjar was engaging, funny, and informative. He made me comfortable at all times and explained everything thoroughly. Moreover, he took the time to make sure that I truly understood what he was saying. I would be happy to receive care from him again any day and would recommend him to my closest family and friends without reservation.
He is a very horrible person I do not recommend this guy. He denies referrals from very serious people that need medical care
Warm, friendly and very competent. Took time to explain the procedure and answered questions.
Dr. Gijjar and his staff are the very personifications of EXCELLENCE and PROFESSIONALISM. They are all very professional, efficient, and PATIENT, who exhibit consummate professionalism, unflagging "can-do" attitudes, and patience with often obnoxious people To those people who exploit the unfettered freedom of the internet to give one-star ratings and seek to diminish or destroy the fine and well-deserved reputations of Doctors and Medical support Teams such as Dr, Gijjars', I say: be an adult, stop whining and snivelling ab... read more
I saw Dr. Gajjar when he was a physician with Sentara. I have chronic pain due to rheumatoid arthritis. During each appt., he would increase or give me a stronger pain med until I was so over medicated I couldn't function with even small tasks. Yes, his staff counted my meds at each visit, but that was stated in the agreement you sign during your first appt., so that didn't bother me. I had 2 epidurals in my neck, of which both were very painful and caused more problems, including migraines
Dr. Gajjar is a good doctor however it’s sad that as a patient I have to sit and wait 30 to 40 min to see a Nurse practitioner and then spend 5 to 8 min with the doc.. wait over 6 weeks for a follow up after having a back surgery procedure done and after having my husband drive me over 45min up I-64 because of an unfortunate incident that was out of our control I arrived 2-3min late and Dr. Gajjar refused to see me!! Really 2/3min late and you will not see me after driving up to Williamsburg??
This doctor is very arrogant and unrespecfull. He try the patients like they were drug addict counting the medication that you have left. you feel intimidate and very bad because doctor and patient have to have a trust relation and he does not give you that trust. I will not recommend him to anyone.
