Dave builds a great trailer, with a design informed by his own lifetime of camping and trip experience. Working with him on making the feature decisions on this trailer was one of my most satisfying customer experiences ever. I anticipate decades of solid performance from our Turtleback.
After about a year and a half of researching trailers, we bought a Turtleback. You get a lot for your money and the build quality is great. The owner Dave, is a stand up guy who always took the time to answer my questions. Great customer service. The family and I are looking forward to taking our Turtleback Trailer all over North America.
I think three stars is excellent and five stars should be exceptional and that is what a Turtleback trailer is!!!
Look at some other pop up units a month or so ago. None of them impressed me all that much. Saw the Turtleback purely by chance at a Jeep Jamboree event where my redone CJ5 was on display. Checked it out pretty good at the show. The following Monday I was at Dave's door ready to put my money down on a unit. This is one well thought out solid piece of equipment. I can't wait to put it on the trail.
