We had a LOT of issues with getting things fixed when we turned them in to the management. We went through 7 landlords in the 5 years we lived there. When we moved out this year, we were charged for things we turned in that were not fixed. We reported them to the BBB, but they lied in there responce. We were forced to pay fraudulent charges. I do NOT recomment ever renting with ANY Lindsay apartmeng complex!
Awful Apartments, especially for the price. The apartment that you are shown intially is in great condition compared to the one youll get. They stink, had old, worn-out carpet (with cigarette burns, and paint on much of the trim, carpets, and windows. In the summer, our air-conditioning unit only kept the apartment to 80 degrees during the day, making things difficult for our hot-natured infant daughter. I have been a customer at these apartments for 3 years. They have an automatic lease renewal program which the only forewarning you get is a little clause in the initial lease agreement. Needless to say when my lease renewed and I went in to alter to a shorter term lease, the apartment office and the corporate office did absolutely nothing to help me. I realize a mistake I made, but I am human, they are not willing to come to an arrangement around this, even though they hold the rights to "alter the lease at any time."
STAY AWAY!!! Unless you like your apartment to smell like a litter box or if you enjoy seeing dog crap every where,o yeah somebodys dog has worms,Or if you like paying \$175 for having your carpets cleaned and after that stains left every where,that \$175 comes out of you deposit and you DONT get it back, This place is great if you like crack heads coming up to your door begging for money,you will love this place if you like very very out dated apartments. Pretty good place to live. I never had any problems. Just a lot of children running around. Its more of a environment for children, not college students or retired. So if kids get on your nerve do not move over there.
When I moved to Jonesboro over Christmas of 2007, it was very difficult to find an apartment that would allow my pets. The Links was very accomodating in this aspect. The apartment I moved into seemed fine at first; however, there was an great deal of noise every night from both downstairs and next door. In addition, the neighbors smoked marijuana which was clearly smelled inside our apartment and the staff would not do anything about it. We lived there for almost a year. The apartment was nice, but 2 months before we moved out the roof started leaking. Water had ran down the wall and ruined the paint. It took them more than a week to come investigate the leak. When they did send someone to look, they said they didnt even see a leak and they would have to wail until it rained again to come back and try to find the leak. The never repaired the wall. I currently live at centennial valley, and i deeply regret it. the apartments themselves are nice and set up well, but i cannot began to explain how many electrical and drainage issues ive had over the past few months. for the price your going to be paying, the location is great, very nice area, BUT, the management here are total slackers. This place is terrible!!! I only gave it one star because it required me to. I only The place is trashed, the management, staff, and residents do not care about ANYTHING! After asking for a notice on coming in my apartment and fixing the dryer, they showed up unannounced and proceeded to be rude and intentionally smartmouth with my wife when I was not here.
