Outstanding service from the server, Lance. Had a nice table by a window. Food was just alright. Had the chicken thighs with green beans and mash potatoes. The potatoes and beans were good. The thighs were boneless and flattened. When cut they were stringy.
Scallops were to die for and the corn jalapeño was great...didn’t think the tavern potatoes went with it. If scallops had been fried the potatoes would have been fine. Maybe a rice or risotto or even more of the corn...the tavern potatoes just didn’t fit. But our 36th anniversary dinner was wonderful...
We just dropped in for cocktails and an appetizer. We sat at the bar and were immediately served. We had a dozen oysters that were hands down the best in Florida. Our bartender was engaging. Will return for dinner after season is over.
It's a great place the foof is top shelf and the staff is into making people happy. You are probably reading this to hear how good the food is, well it's great. Taylor our waitress was very special.. We will be going back very soon!
One of our favorite places to eat and go to listen to Blues music. Food is Excellent as is the service.
