I enjoyed my stay and did learn a lot and dusty my counselor really did a great job and was so sincere and really cared and I really appreciate that. But that red headed nurse at the detox part was so unprofessional and said some things that I really didn't appreciate she really needs to work somewhere else if she doesn't like her job. She is a very mean person and doesn't need to work with people.
Good place to be able to calm down and get some peace for your mental health.
I found that the counselors did not support individuals who were having issues with housemates in the second tier of the of the program. It was much like a mob mentality where a few strong minded people wanted to control the household. Without listening what was true evidence the counselors supported the control group. In a business situation a great boss evaluates both sides equally before determining the facts. Turning Point has given me hope… The staff made the detox very manageable and the counselors at this treatment center understood what I was going through… They all made my recovery seem possible, when I came in thinking it might be impossible… I will forever be grateful for Turning Point’s help…
I was well fed, sheltered and had every wish within reason granted. I hope I don't have to come back but if I do I know I'll be in a good place.
