Absolutely the worst experience our family has ever had . We’ve used Dr Turnage for over 5 years . Over the last 2 years he has steadily gone downhill . The office no longer answers the phone at all , often the message machine is full so you can’t even leave a message . They don’t call back ever . They occasionally answer a text or an email but only after multiple attempts . When asked they say “it’s just hard to find good people “ I had to go in person and miss work to get a referral . I went to Dr Turnage for a specific problem and was completely ignored! I also asked for a referral to my neurosurgeon for a serious issue that I'm having with my lower back and was ignored again, giving me a referral to a Dermatologist that I did not ask for and did not need in the first place. I needed to see the neurosurgeon before I left for the East Coast and that's not going to happen do the lack of professionalism on Dr Turnage's part. I left his office at a complete loss!
Disorganized, unavailable, couldn't control my wife's blood sugar or blood pressure. His office is not handicap accessible. Failed to with hold blood thinner when my wife was discharged for GI Bleeding. She almost bled to health a day later.
Dr. Turnage is a MD, PSY D. His approach is holistic and may be perceived as different. Dr.Turnage is an excellent doctor who cares for his patients. I am recommanding his practice.
