Great local place to Kayak and see alligators, manatees, native birds, turtles, terrapins, and dolphin. The sanctuary gives you a glimpse of what the area was like before settlement.
Turkey Creek is a great place to take the family. We love to walk the boardwalks and look for wildlife. Sometimes we even pack a picnic lunch.
Come here often for some peace of mind. Love it!
Turkey Creek Sanctuary is one of my favorite places in Brevard and I go all the time to hike the many trails, enjoy the wildlife, and to read books in the Butterfly Garden or the Treehouse or one of the many beautiful places to just sit and relax in the peace and quiet surrounded by nature :) It's an amazing place! <3
A true gem for a walk anytime of the year! Great for contemplating nature and also has a large picnic area.
