RecommendedFantastic place to kayak or paddle board. Lots of avian, reptilian and mammalian friends around, too
Great walk with a lot of nature to take in! We saw a lot of turtles sunning. The gift shop is a great place to get souvenirs if you are a tourist because they are so reasonably priced! Nice little display of the natural wildlife, too!
I met my husband in 1988 at the Turkey Creek art show where I was e exhibiting. We were married in 1991 and have a borad on the boardwalk commemorating the day we met and our life together!
This is a wonderful place to kayak if you want to see manatee and giant alligators. Beautiful creatures just remember they are wild animals so dont get too close. ")

It is AMAZING, you feel like you are in a Jungle! The trails were clean and well maintained! The place to sit under the Oaks by the river is Heaven! I come every single time I visit Florida from Dayton Ohio!!!
Kayak the creek. It is well worth it and you do not have to be a seasoned kayaker. It is an easy paddle.
