February 7, 2026 — approximately 8:30 PM I brought my friend to the Tulsa ER because he was having severe side pain that appeared to be a kidney stone. He was in obvious pain and distress. He does not have insurance. We were told that without $400 up front, he could not be registered or treated. My complaint is not about the money itself — it’s about the way the situation was handled and the complete lack of compassion. The staff has been wonderful! I was taken to the back promptly & the doctor was in within 5 minutes. The only thing that is odd, I've been here for over 24 hours & dinner has not been provided.
This place is great. Got a IV and head CT, and was out in a hour. Very friendly staff!
