This is a good place, food and service good.... It used to be my "go to" place for Thai in Dallas, but something happened...prices went up, portions size went down. I go here once in a blue moon, if I am in the area, but no longer make a "special trip." A whole fried fish is crazy over priced..same thing elsewhere half the price and just as fresh....
Used to be my Favorite – It used to be my favorite Thai place in Dallas. Something changed. I don't think the staff is as nice as they used to be. I've had a few things go wrong with my orders and that is difficult when they want you to take care of it right then. But when you do take out, and you find a problem at home, sometimes it isn't possible to come right back. Try it and if you like it go back. It is worth giving it a try.
Tukta Thai is a true culinary standout. This is the best Thai food in Dallas and the most personable staff and service anywhere. The Lemon Grass soup is fabulous as is the fried rice. Very clean though somewhat crowded setting.
Great Food!! One of the best Thai restaurants in Dallas! Don't let the location fool you. The food is good and plentiful and for lunch they offer a complimentary "soup of the day" that is always delicious. Reasonable prices too!
MY FAVORITE FOR YEARS – this restaurant has been my favorite for years. we enjoyed it back in my college days, and i still have my birthday dinners here every year. the service is EXCELLENT, if i've ever had to wait to be seated, its never been more than 5 minutes. the dishes are FABULOUS i've tried many things on the menu when i wasn't a vegetarian and two of my favorites was the "waterfall beef" an the "thom kha soup with chicken". Located in a strip center on Plano Rd, and Walnut Hill, this friendly, Lakehighlands neighborhood restaurant is the perfect place to go when you are just too tired from a long day of work to cook, but you have the family at home waiting on dinner. great thai food I love this small, family owned, thai restaurant. The ambience in the restaurant is cozy with the traditional decor and large, comfy chairs. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food that you get. The spicy dishes are definitely spicy. I've never had an appetizer, but the desserts are good. For those of us in Lake Highlands, there aren't many options for food. Luckily this is one of them. The food is very good and the service is pretty quick.
Bad Service and Mediocre Food I went to Tukta Thai for the first time tonight and will likely not return.
