When you see any business that only replies to good reviews, that is a red flag. Clearly, no one has told TOP about a little thing called reputation. The Best. Being held back by depression or anxiety really sucks. Going out of network for a true med psych team is the only way and the best investment I could ever have made in myself.
My experience with Dr. Shirey has been top notch. He's very knowledgeable about medications and psychiatry. The office staff is also helpful.
Terrible psychiatrist. I would rather have an old man prod into my psychosexual issues with my father in the room again than deal with a psychiatrist who treats filling out your prescription as something they'll do in 7-5 business days It's already terrifying enough depending so much on this medication only for the people who are supposed to help ypu treat you like a damn customer instead of a patient. Also their phones stop working periodically so have fun with that too. Shame on this business.
My experience with therapy and EMDR was less helpful then I had hoped. The TOP practice is very in line with popular therapeutic and psychiatric practices but not all therapists can employ treatments confidently. I expect more for an out of pocket provider, I will be looking elsewhere.
