TOI and TMC hospital on grant rd tucson has the most convoluted phone system. Each time you call you get routed 4-6 times to before you get someone that can help you. Today it took me 6 times and multiple holds to check on scheduled procedure. Its totally ridiculous when you try and contact a Dr. or nurse. DOES THESE FOLKS EVER TEST THE SYSTEM AND SEE WHAT A PATIENT EXPERIENCES. APPARENTLY NOT!!

Do NOT use this emergency services department unless you enjoy sitting in an ER waiting room with lots of sick and injured people for hours on end. In the past I've had great experiences with TMC with other services. But their Emergency Services dept is '3rd world' class. On two separate occasions I went there with severe Covid symptoms. Over a period of 8 hours I spent 5% of the time getting triaged/tested and 95% trying to sleep sitting up in a waiting room chair with many other sick and injured people.
