Spencer at Tuckahoe bike shop in Avalon is wonderful! He fixes and services my beria bike’s superbly. My daughter in law just purchased an electra bike from him and she said it rides well and she got a great deal on it. I recommend Tuckahoe to everyone!
The young male working there on 9-7 was nothing short of rude. Rather than listening to the part I needed for a bike seat, he was quite abrupt and condescending. As a female who has raced bikes, the mansplaining without getting the details was too much. He lost several sales today. While I prefer to support local Shops --- I will just order what I need.
They are the nicest people that work here! We go here every time our bikes need a tuneup and have bought bikes here as well! They were so kind when our son’s bike was vandalized last summer and they fixed it up and charged him minimally! Would recommend them all day long!
We brought a bike in for an annual check-up this year. The guy that checked it in was nice enough. Upon pick-up, it felt good. I picked-up on a Saturday morning; just one guy working and he was working on a bike when I arrived. Also a nice enough guy. Then he helped the next customer choose replacement tires for his bike. All good, but it was Saturday morning and I was just picking-up. It seemed somewhat expensive to me (about $90), but that might be me. Overall, it was an OK experience.
