It's not the same as it used to be. After my sister told me the owners are different I became skeptical... And I was right. We were seated and had placed our orders before two other tables and they both got their food before us. Pad Thai was awful. It was like gray glop. I'm sad to see a family-owned restaurant change like this. It used to be amazing.

The food was pretty good, but the service was terrible. The restaurant was empty - there were 2 tables of 4 each, and we had an extremely long wait.
My Favorite Thai restaurant in all of Chicago-land! The only Thai restaurant that has Meang Kum a fabulous Thai appetizer! The wait staff and manager are so friendly and food is so delicious and authentic! They added "healthy rice" to the menu - a blend of 3 different low carb hi fiber rices - yum!
Have the dinner for 2! You get several dishes that show off some of Tub Tim's best food. Each selection can be customized for customer taste and diet restrictions.
Always delicious. Love that they have a drink menu and still do byob.
First chicken satay appetizer was undercooked, they remade. Spring rolls had a thick wrapping. Then food came out and a stench came with. The pad Thai smelled like the inside of a portable potty and was very wet. When we informed them to take it, the waitress asked if we still wanted to pay for it although we were sending it back. Food is really good and in the top 10 Thai restaurants in the Chicago area. Meanwhile downtown Skokie is depressing at night, and there were some total nut job customers in there, including a guy like Milton from Office Space. Not their fault he was there, but still, he was there, and it impacted my meal.
Tasty Tom Yum Soup. Curry puffs were great as well.
