I have been a client at TruTherapy for two years with no prior issues. This morning, my 7:45 AM appointment was abruptly canceled.Samantha texted me at 7:37 AM stating I could not have my appointment because I was driving, even though I had been parked in my car for 20 minutes waiting. She also claimed I had missing documentation that hadn't been signed in two years, which I was never notified about. Brooklyn was an amazing therapist. She helped me through one of the hardest breakups of my life. She was straightforward, honest, and always gave me the guidance I needed. The therapists here gave advice that felt very basic—things I already knew or could easily get from something like ChatGPT. I’m not pointing to any specific person, but overall it wasn’t helpful at all and felt like a waste of time. Of course, it might work for some people, but based on my experience, it really wasn’t good.
Dr. Brooklyn is an excellent therapist who truly listens and makes you feel understood. She offers practical, helpful methods and I found her approaches supportive.
