I hate to write a negative review because I know it’s hard to run a small business. But I feel like I need to warn other potential customers to not use Trusty Dad. Their movers stacked my items in a way that caused serious damage, and when I asked the owner to help me with a credit to pay for the cost of the damage, he was rude, sarcastic, and condescending, and refused to take any responsibility. Worked with them to pack all of my possessions for a long-haul move. They insisted that large wooden items did not need to be wrapped or covered with any protective blankets, even though they were available. In the end, the way they packed the moving truck resulted in severe damage to $4500 worth of wooden furniture and refused to compensate me for any of the damage. Definitely go elsewhere if you’re looking for movers.

I moved into my apartment last July and used Trusty Dad Moving. Three movers came to unload my uhaul pod. After unlocking and opening the pod, they asked my mom to show them inside where things go (I was out getting us coffee at the time they showed up). All 3 of them went inside with her, leaving the opened uhaul unattended on Mass Ave. A pickup truck had pulled up directly behind the uhaul when they first arrived and my mom thought they were part of the moving crew. These guys are great, efficient, quick, and didn’t damage any of my items moving it in. Will definitely use them in the future if I need to move again. Great guys!
