We have used TrustWell Senior Care for the past year to help my mother who doesn't drive. The lovely lady, Lee Ann who is my mom's driver takes her on errands weekly--from groceries to clothes shopping, hair appointments and much more. She is another set of eyes for me, as my mom has cognitive decline. The driver also checks on my mom's medication to ensure it has been taken properly. I'm not sure what I would do without Lee Ann. I highly recommend this service.
I used TrustWell Senior Care for several months before my mum moved into a Retirement Residence. They were truly a huge help for both of us. They pair up your loved one with a senior who can then offer a variety of support. In our case, it was taking my mum to get groceries, the library (she no longer could drive), preparing some meals etc and then some meaningful and quality social time. Very easy to deal with. Provide a good variety of services. Very thorough in providing personnel for each help that is requested.
We thank Joan for the care she has given Mom (Teresa Aletto) during her visits. There is a lot of interaction between them. Mom is a baker and does a lot of knitting for the children and great children and they spend a fulfilling 2 two hours together. She looks forward to Joan's visits.
As mom aged and lost her independence, (dementia and legal blindness) the caregivers helped mom and provided companionship with such dignity. Often stepping in last minute to accompany mom to medical appointments. From my first phone call to inquire about services, I felt cared for too. I live in a different province, and desperately needed help. My sincerest gratitude for Truswell Senior Care.
