Our doors arrived with several defects as shown in the photo’s. The staples used to hold the door jams weren’t long enough to hold the jam together for our 1 3/4 doors. There were staples through the lock set area that should t be there. When installing the Jams separated and had to be screwed together before they could be installed. The doors would bind when trying to close which created a problem when installed. We had to shave down the jams for the doors to close without tweaking the hinges. Ordered a custom front door in March 2025. Four major problems. 1) Six and a half months later, it finally arrived. 2) It arrived in the wrong size (of course, it is always someone else's fault. A one -two day install stretched into two weeks as the installers tried to make adjustments to the exterior and interior. 3) Wood on one section does not match the other section. 4) Not fully stained. Never seen or worked with such low quality built doors, jambs are to tight for door you either have to cut door style or widen stapled jambs resulting in gaps @ header. Also screws are to short for hinge to door, all this results in added time for installation. Truestile has no qaulity control that is obvious. Buyer beware.

We were pleased with the quality of the doors we eventually received, but the company’s lack of control over their production process was clear throughout our experience. For our full house remodel, we ordered 30 solid core interior doors. The original shipping date was set for 12/24, but this was delayed to 1/7 due to “machine downtime” at their door plant. After spending over $21,000 on interior doors, I expected a level of support that reflects the size of that investment. Unfortunately, that has not been the case.
