Spilled oil during oil change. Pinched an O-ring during oil change. Oil spilled out all over my driveway., had to take it back. Oil still dripping from car 2 days later. FML
Absolutely unacceptable experience at this auto shop. I brought my car in for a simple oil change something that should be basic and routine. Not only did they fail to properly fill the oil to the correct level, but the oil itself looked dirty, as if they just recycled some old oil from a random waste container. It looked old, dark, and used not fresh and golden like new oil should. Technician who used to work for Mercedes put the oil filter way too tight causing the seal to break on me 1 hour outside of vegas. Showed up to the shop and the older hispanic service advisor “Berto”? was very condescending and has a “know it all attitude”. I asked what filters they run and he said fram. Fram oil filters for my car come with black o-rings. Shop is denying all responsibility and is asking me for proof that it was fixed by another shop. The car was with them not even a week ago.
