Went there last night before the "Lion King" show. To say the food at the Trumbull Kitchen is excellent would not be my first reaction. Only because our waiter, Brett, was truly amazing. It was our first time there and he made us so comfortable. His suggestions concerning drinks and the menu were exquisite, informative and right on. First visit & it won’t be the last. Great service, great food, great atmosphere.... what more could you ask for. The manager, Dave, was awesome!!
I thought the food was excellent, the waitress could’ve been up to par with The food , thank goodness i wasn’t in a rush, I’ll give her 4 stars for friendliness, but she could’ve used extra help and been more attentive in the beginning, she got better as time went on probably because of my facial expressions
Highly recommend if you're in the area. The filet mignon with tater tots fondue appetizer was absolutely incredible. We also ordered a short rib and hanger steak. Needless to say, this place knows how to cook mouth water meats and this is coming from someone who was just visiting the area from NYC. They also have daily dip specials for the bread they give you which are unique and delicious. 10/10, would go back.
