This restaurant/cocktail bar happened to be across the street from our hotel. We went for pre dinner drinks and found a terrific atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. It's a real bonus when you are experiencing a late night feel with live lounge music great food and it's only 5pm ! We went 2 nights in a row and both times served by charming and very professional Rachel. Would have no hesitation recommending Trulucks. Only sad we couldn't experience it 3 nights in a row
What a fun experience ! We wondered in after coming from a cocktail hour in downtown San Diego . We had spent most of the day at the beach and lounging around so we came in not very dressed up on a Sunday night looking for good oysters and martinis . My boyfriend was concerned we where not in dress clothing but not to worry! This is our second experience at Truluck's, but every year on my birthday my husband has brought me this carrot cake and that was how we discovered this awesome restaurant. This is our first time sharing the experience as a family, and from the valet to the personal service at the door to the excellent table sservice, food and beautiful celebration of my birthday to the follow up personal phone call we received today it was incredible. Spectacular as always. The best raw-shellfish in San Diego and thoroughly surprised and delighted to see our favorite mixologist Gary working here behind the bar. Awesome move Trulucks, we can't wait to come back.
