Awesome atmosphere and an added style of music
Experience was amazing. I ordered the Sea Bass plate and my goodness, delicious. My server was amazing, Sam was the best. I will be back.
And the service is also OUTSTANDING! Visited during business trip for 3 nights! Had escargot, spicy crunchy shrimp, shrimp cocktail, meatballs, lobster bisque soup, scallops, and their cheese bread. And last but not least, the great cocktails and service from AJ and their wonderful live piano music! THANK YOU and we will visit again in the near future! You are our favorite restaurant in La Jolla/San Diego!
We ordered the twin lobster tails stuffed with lump crab, and the Miso Sea Bass with crab fried rice... Both were excellent!!!! Largest Sea Bass portion that we have ever had. — with Kim Herman.

It is a pleasant evening when you dine at Trulucks. The appetizers are great, the dinners are excellent. The service was amazing. Can’t say anything bad about Truluck’s. I recommend dinner anytime at Trulucks. Enjoy, that’s what we did. Wasn’t loud. We could talk and enjoy the evening.
