Fantastic service; the cocktails are extremely well made, the crab cakes are phenomenal and the meal was delicious. The Baked Alaska was provided gratis in celebration of our Anniversary and was very much appreciated.
No complaints, great music, great atmosphere, great service. Try the lobster bisque, it's amazing.
Truluck's never disappoints!!!! I went there to celebrate my birthday and brought the family along. The food, atmosphere and lighting is just perfect. If you are in the mood for the best seafood and steaks in San Diego give Truluck's a try. The kids and the wife can't wait until we go back again. If I could give Truluck's 10 stars I would. 5 stars just doesn't do this place any justice.....
The steak was ok. I liked the nice, crispy, seared outside, but was an average steak. I will stick to their seafood, which is the best. Ryan is an excellent server.

Last night was my third evening at Truluck's. Twice for dinner and once for happy hour. Love, love, love. Dinner was wonderful and the waitstaff impeccable. I'll be back.
Over priced menu, roasted mushroom was bland and quite chewy, the mash potatoes lacked flavor and weren't whipped, cream spinach lacked the cream/dry, steaks were tender and tasty, the Mojito was excellent. Our waiter was sociable likable fellow, knowledgeable of the various cuts of beef and Connoisseur of fine dining. Would I return? Most likely not!

Trulucks is truly exceptional. Although they are know for their Steaks, I go there for their Seafood. The Salmon melted in my mouth and was not over cooked. The room setting was very comfortable. The acoustics are superb, lending to conversations at the table and not overpowered by the live music duo. Speaking of music, the sets were great easy listening, upbeat songs.
