RecommendedI have had good experiences at Smith but just had a very disappointing exchange with a Dr. Truijillo. My dog is not eating (end of life) and I asked for suggestions. She asked if I wanted to keep trying or just give up. Wow. The other doctors there have been so helpful. I’ll avoid her next time.
Our regular vet couldn't see us and we came to Smith Veterinary and received kind and efficient care for our dog.
Smith is full of wonderful and caring staff! I would recommend them to anyone in the Santa Fe area!
I don’t live in the Santa Fe area but researched where I could get my rabbit Otis neutered. Smith’s is one of the rabbit savy vets that popped up. I was originally scheduled with Dr. Lyman but something came up and I was placed with Dr. Jones. I could not be more pleased with my experience. Dr Jones was very professional and just overall an awesome vet. They took great care of Otis and sent him home with everything needed for recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Jones and the staff at Smiths for all your fur baby needs!
I was really happy with the care that my 15 year old cat received at Smith over the last several years. Dr. Higgins and Dr. Mike were extremely caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. I really feel like they gave the best possible care for my baby.
My poor little mite was bit and ravaged by huge dogs. Dr Mike was so kind. So caring. And competent.
Best Veterinary care in New Mexico! One of the few places that does walk-ins and emergency care in northern NM. We drove from Taos for an emergency and they saved my dogs life. All of the staff was fantastic, compassionate, very skilled and friendly! I’ll be using them for all my animals care in the future. Every Veterinary Clinic/ Hospital should be like this one!
