Don't trust or support banks, try a credit union like TVFCU. Truis is about as trustworthy as the Ministry of Love is loving. I used them for many years when they were SunTrust, because that's what my parents used. They have continued to get worse with every passing year. Nobody is perfect but some places aren't even trying and don't care at all

Truist sent a credit card to me after someone opened an account in my name. The financial institution never verified my credit or attempted to authenticate my identity via email or the phone number provided. They just sent a credit card to my home. In response the investigator offered no credit monitoring, refund or compensation despite their lax security procedures and inability to safeguard against such activities. They gave me the numbers of the credit bureaus to check my own credit. Thanks for nothing Truist!
