Today was my first time in this salon, and I can tell you it was awesome! My appointment was at 4:00 and at 4:00, I was in the chair! I have never had that experience before. I could tell that this was not about getting money, this stylist was taking the time to explain my hair to me and tell me what I needed to do to maintain not just my hair health, but also life and body health. Rated a 2 because when it comes to styling, she's decent but a little too arrogant. I went to her for my 1st "professional" blow out and discussed my fears and how I wanted it but she kept speaking of her license and how she knew natural hair and excluded what I wanted. She did what she felt was better so instead of a light press, it was bone straight and oily after MULTIPLE passes and I had heat damage. Lost my trust...and I love giving credit to where it's due. She listens with the intent to reply, not to understand.
Soooo love this place! I was very close to relaxing my hair...but had a consultation with Ronita that made me rethink my decision. So glad I did. Just got a my hair cut and straightened, that lasting for almost 3 weeks! Love the atmosphere and the professionalism of this establishment. Thanks Ronita!!
