Had a boat trailer rewired and wanted LED lights installed. I was with the customer service rep and picked out two different LED lights that would have worked for me, one of the two sets would have been fine. What they installed were bulb type lights, and charged me a higher price for them than what was marked on the shelf. Offered me a 5% discount on the parts for a total of $4.00 dollars on a $280.00 + bill, said they don't offer discounts on labor. You had mentioned at the time that you wanted the LED lights but they were $30.00 more so you picked the less expensive lense and bulb lights. So I am writing a review! Thought I would share it with you! I had brought my chainsaw to true value up by the airport in Fremont County.. It has been there for 1 full month! I called every week to see how it was going! 2 weeks in a row they had an excuse why it wasn't done! 3rd week I call and asked he said my Stihl chain saw had this problem! Just stopped at your store after driving 2 hours to buy a new trailer. Manager is disrespectful - no help at all. She came outside wasn’t much help and left us after supposedly telling us to bring in the VIN number once we decided. We will never give True Value another penny of ours 👎😡
The customer service is very poor and they do not hire knowledgeable staff. We went to get a blinker on the trailer looked at. The employee started reading our hand book to figure out the problem! While he was doing that we just switch plugs. The blinker worked after switching the plugs. We were in a hurry so we did not need to waste any more time. Rude. Rude. Rude. I called to let them know that personal transaction information on one of their customers was texted to me by accident and the girl that answered the phone was too busy to care and too snippy for her own good. Absolutely wonderful customer service! I called to find parts for a horse trailer door, and without a lot of information they knew exactly what I was talking about, set the parts out for me and helped me to make sure they were right. Absolutely fantastic!
