I was initially nervous about going because of some of the bad reviews. Overall, the experience was fine, and I found the room and tub clean enough (there was no obvious mold in my room). The float itself was very nice and worth the Groupon price. Thank being said, I found the facilities lacking for the price they charge on their site (even with the first time visit discount). DO NOT sign up for a membership; there is no way to cancel without getting an additional month charged to you. They require a 30 day cancelation notice so unless you cancel immediately after being charged, you will be charged an additional month regardless of your circumstances. They will tell you 'you can cancel at any time' which you can -- but due to the 30 day written notice requirement, you will be billed an additional month. Just be aware even if they advertise this as a valentine's float date, you are still in separate pods. Also, vouchers are non-refundable. They must really need that $100.
I have been coming to True Rest for years now. I get out of the pods feeling so grounded with all my aches/pains dissolved. Floating helps quite the noise and chaos of everyday life. The staff are all so kind and professional. The pods and room are so clean and welcoming. I’m surprised by these pictures from the previous post. I floated in this pod last Friday and only saw corrosion from the magnesium- no mold/mildew. I recommend going and trying for yourself. This place/people have helped me immensely. There was mold everywhere, even inside the pods. I do not recommend this spa. Huge health hazard.
