The woman at the front desk gave top of the line service to me and my family. Her name was Cheyanne (idk if I spelled it right). She was so relatable and it was my husband and pregnant sister’s first time floating. She was helpful in explaining everything and setting expectations. I hope we see her again when we book next time.

I did 12 float sessions at True REST San Diego last year, and I went religiously — so this comes from real, repeated experience, not a one-time visit. I was initially nervous about going because of some of the bad reviews. Overall, the experience was fine, and I found the room and tub clean enough (there was no obvious mold in my room). The float itself was very nice and worth the Groupon price. Thank being said, I found the facilities lacking for the price they charge on their site (even with the first time visit discount). DO NOT sign up for a membership; there is no way to cancel without getting an additional month charged to you. They require a 30 day cancelation notice so unless you cancel immediately after being charged, you will be charged an additional month regardless of your circumstances. They will tell you 'you can cancel at any time' which you can -- but due to the 30 day written notice requirement, you will be billed an additional month. Just be aware even if they advertise this as a valentine's float date, you are still in separate pods. Also, vouchers are non-refundable. They must really need that $100.
