Expressed my concern to Scott regarding my 16 year old son having suicidal thoughts as well as some other concerns. Was told that he is unwilling to tackle my son because my son doesn’t express interest in going to counseling/therapy (how uncommon for a 16 year old boy to rebel against something like this) and that instead my husband and I should seek counseling to learn how to better deal with my son. I love my counselor, Laura is wonderful! Using EMDR in our sessions has helped me so much.
Set up an initial evaluation online. After the evaluation, Scott and I scheduled an in person meet up. I showed up at the agreed upon time, waited an hour in the waiting room, watched others ushered into their appointments, and eventually, left due to other appointments. I then reached out by email to Scott, explaining the situation. Never received a response. I did, however, receive a bill for $96 for the initial evaluation. I have yet to hear back in any form from his office.
