Went for a facial. I've never had one, but spent the last few weeks getting pampered and thought a facial might be something new to try. Chava (pronounced like Ha-vah) was so sweet and wonderful to me. She walked me through the process and let me know how everything was working to help clear my skin (though she told me I had good skin to begin with!). I highly recommend Chava and the True North Salon and Spa in general!
I happened to be in town for something else, and since it was worth the short 2-hour trip plus time for a root touch-up, I booked an appointment at True North Salon & Spa. When I called, every staff member was booked—except the owner, who ya know, took me in. I have been in a ponytail and hat for several years, and decided it was time to get a good cut. I had never been here before or met Ashley. The most succinct way I can describe my experience here is, transformative. Nineteen inches was cut from my hair and I have never felt like the best, most polished version of myself.
