rude staff in the Restaurant and rude people in the gas station part,they act like they don't know the area at all.
I've been a server in several different paced restaurants and never been as rude as the dark haired woman working up there right now. She brought my kids over full drinks that spilled all over them. I had to go find her to ask for napkins and she was standing around not busy at all. She was so rude about napkins and refilling my kids drinks. Then ignored me for 20 minutes most of which she spent standing in the same spot when she did move it was to take other people napkins and drinks. I understand a understaffed restaurant ... read more

RecommendedBest chicken livers I've ever had...
my wife and I just had lunch at the 44. The food had no flavor, the service was horrible, and when my wife FINALLY got someone's attention, they couldn't even get me a dang to go plate without finding my original server who had walked out!
Great food. Stopped here on the way home from a camping trip. Buffet and menu. Menu has burgers, sandwiches, wraps, steaks, chicken, pork chops. They have homemade cakes for sale also. We got the buffet. Good selection of food. Also a salad bar. The prices are mid-range, about the same as any other mom and pop diner. Plenty of semi-truck and RV camper parking in the back. Definitely will return here again if we’re hungry and traveling.
Good for a late night snack!
Excellent food and wonderful staff.
