Intentionally tried a stay at Tru after a Hampton Inn the night before, for comparison. The center of the room service desk is unusual. Staff was friendly and efficient. Stepping into the room, my expectation for colorful was met. Compared to Hampton the room is 20% smaller and the furnishings leaner than IKEA. Fellow travel said the room felt European. Checked in late with my wife during a road trip to Chicago. Great experience, easy check in, very friendly staff, and a great nights sleep. Thank you!
Clean rooms, friendly staff, nice lobby with games for the family.
I checked in exhausted. The staff helped me by giving me 2 bottled waters n came to my room to show me how to deal with the new curtain machine and remote. They treated me like a queen.
