We were unable to make our trip last minute due to unforeseen issues and they have no compassion or kindness and are unwilling to refund us. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
Check-in was an awkward experience. The clerk didn't appear to know what he was doing! Having experienced other Hilton properties, the whole concept behind Tru seem like they are targetin the youth hostel group that now just want a private bathroom! No closets, no chest of drawers for clothes storage, only shelves and a pipe for hangers. We did unfortunately stop up the toilet. I am a disabled veteran and had a medical incident while traveling. I needed to find a hotel near and quickly. I went to booking.com and it showed your hotel was closest to the turnpike so I booked a room while on side of road. I found a Holiday Inn right off the turnpike and they kindly accommodated me. I went to booking.com and cancelled my reservation, explaining my situation. This morning, I receive an email from your hotel that I have to pay the whole room fee.
